Check engine light on My 97 Cobra??

I just bought a 97 Black Cobra. And love it!! This is my fisrt 4.6 car so Im kinda new to this 32V stuff. The car has a Mac off-road x-pipe and Mac catback. Im wondering if this is why my Ck engine light stays on all the time. Does removing the cats on these motors kick the ck engine light? And am I correct in assuming that I need MIL Eliminators?

yes that is why. The O2 sensors are going off becuase you dont have any cats. If you get a MIL eliminator that should turn the cheak engine light off.

Get the code scanned. It should come up with a p0136 code. if so, then get some mils. If not find out what is causing those codes.
