my 98 cobra had trouble with traction too. then i put on my Saleen 18x9s with 265 on all 4 corners. traction was A LOT better. i just purchased some 285s for the rear too. i should hook even better now. drag radials are nice, BUT they dont last nearly as long as "normal" tires. if you don't mind buying tires twice as often then go for it, i guess. but i get good traction with my 265s, and im sure it'll only get better with 285s. dr's really SUCK in the rain too. i'd say just go with a wider tire.
