Default Next Modification

Hey, I'm new to this website. I have a few questions about my '97 cobra. I currently have gears (I think they are 4:30's or 4:56's), pulleys, flowmaster exhaust w/ an off road x-pipe, steeda tri-ax shifter, steeda springs, and I also have nitto drag radials. My questions are:
What suspension mods should I do next? Upper/Lower control arms, subframe connectors, and shocks/struts? I really want to hook up better.
I also plan to eventually put a new throttle body, a cai, and long tubes on as soon as money allows. What would you do first? Product type recommendations would also be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

If you want to hook up better the upper and lower control arms
and subframe connectors should help you.I would start with a CAI.
I have the BBK CAI and I am happy with it and I had no problems
with it.You can get all these parts plus the CAI at
www.brothersperformance.com .Welcome to AFM.

Thanks a lot. Are the adjustable upper and lower control arms worth the extra $? and are should I go with full length subframe connectors?

if you are not going to be all out road racing, save the money on the adj. and just buy regular control arms. if you dont have caster/camber plates yet then you should buy those too. go with the full length subframes too, but ANY sub. conn. are an improvement! i'd buy a cai pretty soon. stay away from the chrome/metal kits cuz they just heat up, and that doesn't exactly give you cool air. i have a densecharger on my 98 cobra and i def. noticed a good jump in power after installing it. plus, i can touch the pipe even after the car has been running for a couple hours. there's a pic of it in my gallery. new shocks/struts are not required on a lowered stang, however your stock pieces will wear out prematurely. so you will need them at some point, but everyone will need them at some point, know what im sayin'?
by the way, how does the flows sound with the x pipe? i'm going to be installing flows on my cobra soon, but i'm planning on going with an H pipe.

Thanks. I think my car sounds really good. The x pipe makes it sound a little higher than my friends 99. He has the same exhaust except he has an h pipe, but they both sound really good. It all depends on what you want. As far as the caster camber plates go, I don't know anything about them. What will they do?Any input/suggestions would be appreciated.

Caster chamber plates will help. The Steeda and Maximum Motorsport
caster chamber plates seem to be the best and most popular.
