Default Whooshing Between Shifts
I took a 97 Cobra for a test drive today, and the only thing that reeally bothered me about the car was this strange noise it made in between shifts. It was like a whooshing sound. Has anyone had a similar experience?

That isn't normal.You should have a mechanic look at it for you.
It just may need a tranny rebuild of some kind.

My car does the same thing! Wait, its my bypass valve.

Seriously, I would definitely have a good mechanic check that out. It could be something really easy and it could be something serious. Find out before you buy it.
