Default Headers

I am thinking about putting headers on my 97 cobra before anything else. I have been looking for a set of used long tubes with the matching x pipe, but haven't found any. I know long tubes are the best way to go on the 4.6, but my car has been lowered. Will I have enough ground clearance? If not, or if I can't find a reasonably priced set of long tubes, would shorties work well with my current o/r x pipe set up. My goal is to gain some power by letting the car breathe better, and to make it more ready for intake modifying. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I'd really like to find a set of those, or any other good long tubes w/ the x pipe used so that I could get a better price. I really can't spend that much buying them. So if I can't find them used would shorties be worth it? And would they mount up to the x pipe I have now. I know the power gains would be as great, but the long tubes are just so expensive.
