New member (Cylinder misfire issue)

Hello everyone. New AFM forum member here. And owner of a 1997 SVT Cobra. Stock except the K&N off-road Air Charger. about 78K miles total. Here is my dilemma:

Getting DTC Code P0304 (Cylinder 4 misfire detected)

I have replaced all of the plugs, but problem persisted. Here is the bad news. When I did replace the plugs, I noticed #4 was charred, and #3 was oily. Neither of which are good signs. Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? I want to fix it right, and dont want to get ripped off. Im new to town and dont have a local mechanic I trust yet.

Well, the official diagnosis is bad plug wire. I am ordering a set of MC wires and plugs and will be replacing them this weekend. Apparently the #4 cylinder plug has been arcing wildly off the plug stem. (its burned pretty bad) anyhow, i will post my results.
