I purchased a '93 cobra a few weeks ago that is still close to original condition,all except the motor. It has Edelbrock heads, long tubes,a cam the size of a tree,70mm,80mm mass air,etc...I am trying to find the numbers on the block to see if it is original. If so it will stay in the car, if not its coming out, in favor of something a little milder! Any info would be great.

Whats the point of wanting the original block ? The rest of it is aftermarket . As far as I know the 93 cobra used the same block as the gt's anyhow . And If I'm thinking right the block number is in the lifter valley so you have to take the intake off to see it .
