I just bought a bbk cold air intake that I got a really good deal on. Anyone have any comments on this particular cai? I also found a good deal on a twin 65mm throttle body. Would it be worth it to buy the throttle body too? One of my friends said it might cause me to run lean, but I have been told by a couple of people that it would be fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Well if you read much of the CAI thread, then most say the metal ones will give you warmer intake charge than a plastic one. But at the same time putting the filter in the fender can help with that. I have a nice chrome BBK on my car and I do notice while cooling down at the track on hot days that it is hot to the touch. I say if you got it for a good price then slap it on and see how it feels.
