Default Alternator Voltage?

It seems everything that can go wrong has gone wrong on my rebuild. The car is finally back together and was getting tuned yesterday but the shop says there's a charging issue now. Supposedly the computer is reading 13.2v. It's reading 13.7v at the battery with a multi-meter. It seems to me that teh alternator is doing it's job but I'm not sure what the correct voltage should read at idle from the battery or the computer. Any suggestions?
