Default Snow tires?

I have a 2003 mustang cobra and I am looking for a good pair of snow tires and since im from chicago they should be pretty good in the rain as well. if you think that the tires will do nothing please list other possible solutions.

thanks

i'm using a set of Blizzak 255/55/16s on the back of my 98 cobra.

yes, they are very good in the snow. but other than that they are junk. the rubber is VERY soft, and when combined with the tall sidewall, the car is very unpredictable on the highway. it is all over the place! people behing me can physically see the rearend sway back and forth.

i will never use these tires again. so if you want them for NEXT winter, just let me know. i'll be happy to get rid of them

Default Snow tires - another angle

I personally wouldn't suggest driving an '03 in the snow; it has enough torque and a touchy enough clutch to go sliding all over the place. (I found it out the hard way once) So, instead of a set of snow tires, why not spend the money on a beater and keep the Cobra put away for the winter? This is strictly my opinion, and you know what those are like. Jim.
