I am looking at getting a '97 SVT Cobra and want to ask you guys what kind of stuff I can do, but stay emissions legal. I am located in Wisconsin if that helps any. Here is what I was looking to do:

-Procharger System (8, 10 psi w/ P-1SC 50-70% 3 Core Intercooler)
-Basic upgrades like new exhaust, ignition system, computer chip, etc)

-Main goal is to make/be close to 500hp, w/out having to modify motor internals, and stay emissions legal. What kind of #'s can the stock motor handle? (hp,boost,etc.)

-One other thing i'm looking at is exhaust. Is the majority just cat-back exhausts? I am looking to get the best exhaust flow while staying legal.

-Any other tips/suggestions much appreciated!!!

Most stock stuffs breaking point is just a bit above 400HP.......I had a 98chrome yellow gt with a ATI Procharger and loved it put down 400hp to the wheels and that was plenty...........just my .02cents
