Default Cobra Consuming Oil?
I have a 98 cobra with 60,000 miles on it.........i just bought it 6 months ago...........i have done 2 oil changes on it putting in 6 quarts of mobil 5W30 oil........i have noticed that at maybe 1500 miles or so the dipstick starts reading low and by the 3000 mile mark i have to add 1 -1.5 quarts of oil between changes. The car is not blowing smoke or leaking and oil.........Is this normal to be adding this much oil? Is it burning or what? The car runs fine otherwise.
