Default Headers leaking. Need help!

I have BBk longtubes on my 99 cobra and it has an obvious leak on the passenger side where the headers are bolted on. I know there is no easy way to get to it. But i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and knows the best way to try and fix this leak. There is no room hardly and i bought the car with the headers already installed so i do not know who installed them or how they went about doing it. I am use to my old 5.0 where u had all the room in the world. This is new to me, so if anyone knows anything about how to go about this please let me know. Thanks.

About the only thing I can suggest would be to get a Haynes or Chilton's manual and see if there's a specific bolt torquing sequence. If there is, go through and loosen all the header bolts a bit and go back through and tighten them all down using that sequence. I know it's a tight fit to get to them, but unless you want to take it somewhere and have someone do it, that's all I can recommend. There is always the possibility that it's the flange coming down from the header to the midpipe that's leaking and not the header.

Yeh i thought actually about taking it to someone because its so hard to actually get to the bolts. But i just hate having someone else mess with my car. But i just might have to do that. And i actually havent looked to see if its the flange, it could even be that. Also do you think i should invest in some locking header bolts?

Well i took the car to rick@amazon and found out that the reason for the leak is that the header is cracked. Which sucks. But becuase of this i am installing all new full exhaust with bassani mid-length headers, bassani offroad xpipe, and a mac catback system. shes gonna scream!!
