There isn't much tire and wheel help here since the 93 Cobra's are few and far between and most owners won't or don't do much to them since they are more valuable in stock condition. What you need to concern yourself with is the proper backspacing that I believe is 26mm, but not 100% ... The 93 Cobra has a unique offset that is 3/4" wider per side than the 93 GT, and unique front rotors with taller hats. The rim outboard offset on a Cobra is 1.61 inches.
I'm running Steeda Hexcentric 17x9's on all corners of my 93 Cobra wrapped with 245/45ZR17 up front and 255/45ZR17 in the rear. I don't have any rubbing issues in the twisties or on lauch. Let me know how it goes for you and pic's once you decide on your wheels.
