Hey just wanted to let yall know there was a recall on our year of Mustangs,( I have a 1996 Cobra) just for the E-Brake lever. Apparently the ratcheting mechanism broke in enough of them to cause a recall, I got mine fixed about three years ago so I don't know if they are still doing this fix currently.

just got my 96 cobra!! i think the clutch issue is very important, hince why i went ahead and got a king cobra clutch as well as a short shifter. i think if your going to drive a cobra, you should go the extra mile and make sure you get good parts despite the cost.

just an FYI, if your car never had the TSB done...you'll ONLY be able to install a radiator for a 1996 model (unless you make some major mods yourself) as the TSB used the 1997 up style radiator which mounts differently....same applies to 1996's that had the TSB done as the TSB kit came wth a radiator that was longer and required the lower mounts to be removed and spaced @2" farther out....also in the kit was a different A/C condensor that has better air-flow, allowing more air to the radiator and instructions in the kit to remove the "honeycomb" grill on the 1996 Gt's and Cobra's....on my '96 Gt, I just went wth a Fluidyne radiator and someother tricks on mine to keep it cool
