Default Blown Head Gasket - Help

I have a blown head gasket, left bank, cylinder #5. Can the driver side head be pulled with engine in the car? Must the front timing cover be removed? All Data does not provide R&R head proceedures.

The heads can come off in the car. The timing cover will have to be removed. I must say by asking these questions you do not have the knowledge to tackle a job like this.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info. Yes, 1st time with this engine and this body, thus the questions. Yes, I need a couple of the specialized tools for this engine to ease the job. Now tell me the surprises I will run into that are not common to a DOHC head change. I won't try to go toe to toe with your experience with this engine, but I've been around the block a few times. Seriously, I would rather not run into any surprises, so if you know of anything unusual please let me know.
