I have a 95 cobra svt, and just recently the transmission seems to be slipping. If I shift into any gear and hit the gas the RPM's rev up to around 5-6000 RPM's without any power going to the engine. It will drop back down to 2-3000 RPM's and if i try to accelrate anywhere past that it justs starts slipping again.Any ideas?

if its slipping out of gear, it could be our sync rows..

if its the same trans thats in the 98 cobra's it's a piece of sh*t. I'm going to replace mine with a 6 speed when I get some money saved up. The stock trans in the cobra's suck just my .02

Your clutch needs replaced, I doubt there's anything wrong with your trans.
