I added new springs and struts, sway bar bushings and links and rebuilt the calipers and added new rotors to my 94 Snake. Now I am
getting a clanking rattle in the front end when I traverse small bumps. Took it to two shops and they said it was calipers rattling. The pin that holds one side of the pad to the caliper is loose and
rattles. I replaced it with a grade 8 bolt and lock nut with a hole
drilled for a cotter pin to keep it all tight. Noise is less pronounced
but still bugs me. Anyone else have this problem or a way to fix it?
Napa has a kit to fix it. It IS the "rattle clips". I had the same problem, but I fixed mine when I installed new pads, since they come on there.
