I just had FRPP 4.10's installed in my 98 coupe w/36000 miles and so far (only have put about 150 miles on them) my wife and I love them. I haven't had an opportunity to see what the gas consumption on the road is, but really don't care as this is our retirement toy anyway.

98 Chrome Yellow Coupe- C&L bullit cold air intake & K&N FIPK, Venom 400, FRPP 4.10's. Next an exhaust

with a 99 cobra,(I think thats what u have) u will hardly notice a differance in your top speed, but you will notice in your performance. I think u have stock 3.27:1 gears, I would reccomend 3:73:1 for your ride. You will be happy with them, if u had a six speed, I would reccomend 4:10:1, but u have the 5 speed.

3.73 is 14% lower than your factory 3.27's
So you can figure your rpms like this, whatever you run (RPM)at any speed now, add 14% and you will know what to expect with 3.73's

Also the 3.55 is a great gear comprimise, not to low, not to high.
But if u want the edge, get 3.73's
