Thumbs up

That's entirely up to you, and the question is, how much is he asking? Myself, I would look for one with lower mileage on it. They're out there, just be patient and you'll find the right one. My 96 Convertible, only has 54,086 original miles on it, Mike.

That is on the high side but like mentioned, what's the asking price? I've seen a few 96-98 Cobras in great condition, low miles for around 10K+
If they took great care of it, didn't beat the crap out of it and everything looks great motor wise, then maybe. But check it out or pay to have a mechanic check it out. You don't want it to turn into something you'll regret.

look around first.. I bought my 96 snake with 13k miles on it for 10grand.. quite the steal.. theres one in kentucky with 5k miles on it and their only asking 13,500 for it.. theres also one here in ohio with 10k miles on it for 13 grand.. just look around.. if i had the money if buy up both cuz im sure somewhere like ebay you could sell them for at least 20grand for market value

Mine 1996 has 53,000 and is factory right down to the $$$ OEM brake pads. I got it from a very anal retentive friend at work for $8K which was $500 more than the dealer trade in offer was when he ordered his new Cobra.
I'm not saying you should hang around low balling new car buyers at Ford but my guess is the one your looking at has so many mods for a reason (and it wasn't better mileage.)

I'd look around for something w/ low miles and clean. That way you know hasn't been raced and you can do the mods yourself.

I bought mine with 45.*** for ten grand 5 years ago. I'd look around for a lower mileage one.
