The power will depend on how large the supercharger is, brand, intercooled or not and how much boost it delivers. A fair estimate would be an extra 100-120HP from a bolt on supercharger kit.

And about gears, 3.73s, anything larger and first gear becomes almost unusable.

To improve acceleration higher numerical gears in the rear end are a start. An improved exhaust either cat back or full system would also help. Underdrive pulleys and a free flowing intake also help. If the 99's are anything like every other mustang, the intake has a silencer baffle at the beginnning of the intake tract which can be removed to free up air flow. Probably first and foremost on a 99 you should contact a Ford dealership to see if your car has been "fixed" under recall. The 99 Cobra's had intake/exhaust issues which had them making inferior power to same year Gt's. They were not putting out the advertised 320. Ford opted to "fix" the cars to put out the advertised power but some may have slipped through the cracks. This is the reason there were no 2000 Cobras. Ford was planning on producing 00 Cobras (I actually have a brochere) but fixing the 99 cars took up too much time and manpower.
