Default offroad h-pipe smoke

I just installed an offroad h-pipe and notice that in stop and go traffic sometimes when i get on it i see puffs of white smoke coming out of the exhaust.....also at idle if i look in the rearview mirror i can see some light smoke puffing out every so often.

It never did this before when i had the stock h-pipe on......what could this be?

If you need to pass an actual tailpipe sniffer test, don't get an O/R pipe. And even if you just have the OBDII test, there's usually a visual inspection, so it's best to have a friendly, trusted inspector on tap, or again -- don't bother getting an O/R.
Of course, some people just re-install the stock pipe at inspection time, but that's a PITA.

All they do is the OBDII test where i am.......i heard it should pass as long as the CEL isnt on.

Switching out the offroad with the stock with cats to pass in case i need to wouldnt be a PITA.......its every 2 years.

When you turn the car off does it smell like something's burning? Most of the time it's normal because the new pipe is buring off residue. I had my catback and mid pipe installed at the same time and took the car straight to the dyno...When I shut the car off it smelled like something was burning. Then I restarted the car and it smoked.....when we put the car on the dyno it smoked so bad the entire dyno shop was filled with smoke.....it was just buring off stuff in the pipe and was normal after a day or so of driving. If the problem continues then you might have a different issue.

what other mods do you have cause 4 vavle engines are super sensitive to mods?....In my experience with Mach's if you add a catback, mid pipe and CAI you'll need a tune cause the car will be lean.

I agree. If you just installed the pipe you are probably burning off paint, slag, etc.
