I also posted this in the lounge. Just about to purchase a 2.2 KB then I found this. Has anyone heard about or done this swap yet.

The swap should be the same. The blowers are nothing more than the 1.7 and 2.2 that have been bored. All the kit parts should be the exact same.

I think I remember reading or hearing that the internals are now billet and a few other things. Probably just a advertising gimmick?

Well it'd be a great way to make sure the tolerances are more closely maintained.
