Default shaking when pressing the brakes? 2004 Mustang Cobra

when i press on the brakes on my 04 cobra, it starts to shake. The rotors feel a little grooved so i thought that was the case, i took it in to get them machined and the guy said there not bad enough to do it! any one have any suggestions? thanks much!

I don't know if I would trust the "guy". A groove in the rotor will cause pulsing.

did the guy just look at them, or did he put them on the machine and check to see if they where warped. take them to another shop. my hunch is that they are warped. if not to bad have them turned, if they are way out, by new rotors.

Turning the rotors may not help. You may have to replace them. If you do go with aftermarket. Such as NAPA, Advance, or your local parts store.
