Hello everyone. just got my '04 Cobra Saturday. Dropping it off tonight to be dyno'd. What kind of numbers should i expect? I guess the tune was a pre-tune with the pulley. Just curious as to what i should expect to see? He uses a Mustang type dyno
well the guys said 262 rwhp on his Mustang dyno, but said that would be 410-420 on a dynojet. he said my tune is pretty bad, but safe and no use tuning it until i am done with my mods. i am going to port the blower and add headers. he said a good tune would have given me much better numbers
maybe Im way off, but didnt they get around 360 to 370 stock?
I think you need to change "guys" And have it re tuned, you should get 450 on a dynojet, dont know about a mustang dyno?

That is not bad. My car had a baseline of 407rwhp and 443rwtq. After tuning I now have 425rwhp and 456rwtq. I also used a Mustang Dyno, the tuner said on a Dynojet it would have been closer to 500rwhp.
Mine put down 429rwhp with a CAI,and catback on a mustangdyno.It lost hp with a perdetor tune so we took the tune out,with the 2.80 upper install and a custom tune it put down 460rwhp on the same mustangdyno.You need to take the car somewhere else..I then took the car to another shop with a dynojet dyno and it put down 492rwhp same mods..I say try another shop..Just my .02
