Default X-pipe or H-pipe

I got a "Borla T-304 S-S Catback Street Cars Exhaust System" and "JBA ceramic Coated Headers"

My question is should I take a H-pipe or X-pipe?

It kind of depends on what kind of sound you want. I have a x-pipe on mine and like the sound, it sounds like a race car. Very aggressive sound. But just like most x-pipes it does have a little bit of crackling and popping sound, but when you are on it pretty good it sounds mean as hell.

This is almost the exact same set up I have. I went with a 2.5" x-pipe instead of a 3" so my car is not as loud, but sounds just good.

I dont have after market headers, but I have cat back Flowmasters and a BBK X pipe (no cats), on my 03 Cobra.
I have had H pipes on two 5.0 Mustangs, they sounded OK, but I can tell the X pipe flows better, I believe the X pipe flows better because of the cross of the flow in the X section of the pipe, which equalizes back pressure in your engine.
Ive belive that an H pipe will give a throatier (deeper rumble) sound, and the X pipe will be more raspy (Tin can) sounding. The H pipe keeps the flow of your engine more seperated from left and right sides by never forcing a merge in the middle. Simply look at the letters: H X and imagine your exhaust running through them.

I would go for performance over the Muscle car rumble.
Either way it will sound good, just differant tones.
It also sounds alot differant without cats.

Are you going with or without cats on yours?

Thank you for the information

I'm going with the cats. I've seen a bassani X-pipe with cats at a reasonable price and I want to go for it.

I just have a doubt about the sound. one of our friends said that x-pipe will sound more like racing car.. if its like that then I dont like that cuz I dont want to lose that great sound of V8 which people dont hear often here in Denmark.
