Default 2003 Mustang Cobra Whats The Choice 4.10's or 3.73's

I used to own a 2001 GT and bought 4.10's with plans to install, but didn't. Now I have a 2003 cobra and was wondering if it would be wise to install the 4.10's or sell them and buy 3.73. I've herd the 3.73 are a better choice then the 4.10's since the car is blown. I will do some other simple mods to the car, no pulley swaps though the boost will remain factory.

From havin only around 320 WHP here, the 4.10s are a beast to handle off the line. I would suggest the 3.73s if you are going to do any other mods. Unless you are going to do a lot of suspension and traction mods.

I thought about swapping gears myself until I talked to local drag racing buddy. He recommended keeping the stock 3.55's. He said from what he has seen at FFW and NMRA events changing the gears in 03-04 cobra's actually hurt the performance. I was surprised but he has never steered me wrong.

The 3.55 is a good gear. Expecially if you got the power to still MPH well in the 1/4. You need to be able to get off the line well, which a lower gear makes moedifficult, and then you want to cross the line as close to your shift poit as possible. Essentially using all of the last gear you are in. Try to Balance the 2
