 2004 Cobra Mustang - brakes squeaking or what?
Hey guys,
I have a 2004 cobra with about 6,500 miles on it. The only mods done so far is I put on a Upr x-pipe with no cats, and flowmasters exhaust. The car is only driven once in a while, im saying once a month. Recently i noticed my breaks was trashed because when coming to a stop they would make that awful noise like to steel pieces rubbing together. I was not too concerned because this is not my primary vehicle so i let it sit until i got the extra money to put into new brake pads. Well my problem is i took my car out yesterday and noticed 2 things. One is sometimes when my car moves it will make a squeaking noise, exspecially whenever it turn it at low speeds it squeaks like crazy. The other thing i noticed was when i burried the throttle when the road opened up it went fine but the little red light on the dash that says "brake" came on and it has done that 3 times now. What do you guys think it could be? Im hoping its just the break pads that are needing to be replaced. thank you |
