helppppp my car is now leaking from a small pinhole in the oil filter housing... i dont know what it is but when the car is on it leaks a pretty good amount of oil im wondering if anyone else has had this happen or knows what to do cause im stumped

DID u make sure that the old gasket was still on when u put the new oil filter on. Or the filter is warped or got hit. anything else I am not sure of.

If the old filters rubber ring was still on it will leak like crazy along with a warped one that can come that way new.

its niether of those there is actually a small hole about the size of a pen tip and when the car is on oil clearly comes out from the little hole i have no idea where it came from doesnt make any sense but its not the oil filter itself

its actually my oil cooler that has the small hole but i dont know where it came from wow

I just took care of that problem with my 97 cobra. That leakage is from an internal seal in the oil cooler. The only way to fix it is to replace the cooler itself.The pinhole is there for breathing purposes. The part cost 360 Dollars and about a hundred labor.
