I have a 96 dohc. The imrc is stuck closed so im going to have it removed completely. I heard this will give me a low end tourque loss. If I have 4.10 gears and longtube headers will it be that bad. And what are the pros to doing this if any. Thanks.

I dont see much loss if you remove it, you would gain some top end because you will reduce the restriction created by the plates.

From what I have read, some torque loss will be experienced. Most people say 4.30's are best with the IMRC delete, but you should be fine with 4.10's. Good luck!
