How can I get 300rwhp out of my 1995 mustang cobra?
The cobra is stock with the exception of a pro 5.0 short throw shifter, K&N filter, and flowmaster mufflers (not sure which ones they came w/ the car when I bought it). I am wondering what else I can do to get more power out of the car. I am hoping to get 300rwhp. I do not want to use nitrous but a s/c may be in store for the future. Anyone have suggestions?

there are so many things you can do to those 5.0's man.. here are a few links with some bolt on stuff to get you started
unfortunately I can't get an o/r x or h pipe because of emissions. What is the difference between a catted x and a catted h pipe?

Heads, cam, intake, exhaust with hi-flo cats and pass emmisions. It is easy if you keep it all as a combonation that works well. Trick flow has a great combo as well as Holley system max. Get it tuned when installed.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm only half as dumb as I look .
I am interested in doing a h/c/i swap but I'm not sure about which parts to get.I have heard the edelbrock heads and intake are good but I do not kno which cam to get. Does anyone have any ideas for some setups I could go with?

Like I said, Trick Flow has a great combo, heads, cam and intake. Stage 2 cam is my choice... but build it as a combo and not just pieces that may or may not work. I have a 331 stroker with Afr 185's, comp extreme energy 274 cam. It got me there and then some.
thanks for the help guys I'm lookin at the trick flow and edelbrock stuff. I'll let ya know how it goes. If anyone has anymore suggestions please feel free to let me know.

I am now lookin into buyin a supercharger instead of doing the h/c/i swap. Does anyone have any suggestions on which supercharger is the best? Which do you think is better the h/c/i or the supercharger? Also can I run a supercharger on a stock engine or will I need to buy other components?
