Default 1999 Mustang Cobra TPS Voltage Problem?

I have a 99 Cobra and recently had some problems with the intake. I checked the TPS voltage and got a 1.7. The car is now running fine and I no longer have any reason to think anything is wrong, I have been told it should be .97-.99. Is that right? Have I got a problem?

if i remember right it should be BETWEEN .95 - 1.0

i have a 98 and mine did this as soon as i changed my throttle body. as far as i know the throttle position sensor is not adjustable and if it goes out of spec it has to be replaced

Alright, thanks. Also, the car is running fine, what kind of symptoms did you notice, or should I notice due to this?

well what happened with mine was RIGHT after i changed my throttle body I pulled it out of the driveway and took it around the block… when I would accelerate either hard or not and take let off the gas and take it out of gear to shift the rpms would stick/hang for a while… I would have to put it into gear to get them to come back down. This went on for a while until I talked to some guy at ford who said I needed a new tps. For a while I thought it was a vacuum leak though but it wasnt

Ok, I replaced the TPS and still got a 1.7. Any other ideas? Could it be the throttle body?

That is a different engine, throttle body, and TPS than mine.1999-mustang-cobra-tps-voltage-problem-engine.jpg My TPS is not adjustable like the earlier models. So I dont know what else is wrong with it. I have recently removed the intake and throttle body together, but the throttle body has never been removed from the intake. ??????

I wonder if there is something wrong with the throttle body itself, read this and youll know how it all started... http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ad.php?t=80108 I fixed the intake and the car is running pretty much fine, but I keep getting check engine lights p1130, p1131, p1132, and the TPS voltage is too high. I changed the IAC and PCV valves to get it back runnuing good and thought the TPS was probably bad too, but I was wrong. Now I dont know what it is.
