Thinkining Of Changing Connecting Rods I Have The Engine Apart. Was Just Going To Put Bearing In It, But The Best I Can Tell The Rods Are Throw Away Rods Is This Correct? When You Take The Rod Cap Off That It Breaks And Is Not Useable Again Like The Older Engines Where. Do I Need To Buy New Rods If I Put Bearings In It.

If it were me I would go ahead and do the rods. From everything I have read the rods seem to be the weakest link with the 4.6. Well worth doing if you are already in there.

You wouldn't actually have to but new rods rather than the cracked cap rods would be better.
