I have a 1996 Cobra with 71,000 miles on it. I got it about 2 months ago and it has had a hesitation at 3200 RPM, just slightly. I tore down the engine to my IMRC and cleaned them up real good, then I put some seafoam through it and that didnt' fix it either. I have new autolite plugs in it and just put new coil packs, but that all made it worse today. It also has a real bad bounce and hesitation if I'm in a high gear and hit it at lower RPM's like its flooding out. If you have any answers that would be great...thank you in advance

I had a 92 ford taurus sho that had the almost the same symtoms, i replaced the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator and that did the trick for me. idk if it will fix it for you but i think your on the right track.

You sure the IMRCs are opening, the controller could be broken

When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter? Also do you have some numerically high gears? If not, trying to floor it in a high gear at low rpms will make any car bog or bounce. If i put my car in 6th gear at 1500rpms with stock gears, it'll bounce and bog. My 05 GT with 4.30's, i could do 25mph and put it in 5th and be fine.

If it happens at 3200 RPMs, it's not the fuel filter.
It's definitely something to do with the IMRCs.
