Default 1997 Mustang Cobra have forged internals?
My son just added an new toy to our Ford family, I am not positive but did any DOHC have forged internals? His is a 97 Cobra. Thank you.

also is the CR 9.5?

The only 4.6L to get forged internals was the 03/04 cobra.

My Ford brochre says the connecting rods are "sinter-forged."

Correction: My Ford Brochure for my 1998 Cobra says the connecting rods are sinter-forged. Not sure of others from the SN-95 generation.
