back up now guys.....When I first purchase my mustang, I thought the same thing. My 96 z28 had a easy clutch and shifted great. When I got into the
stang, it was a harder clutch and getting it into reverse is always a challenge. I have owned three stangs, and my memory came back. This is normal on the
stang trannys. You cannot speed shift the t45 either.
Maybe explain "clutch is to hard" My leg was tired after purchasing the cobra. It just took some getting used to, my clutch is fine though....for now. Also, the trick to getting it into reverse. When you come to a stop, push the clutch in, put it in first gear, then immediately shift to reverse ( do not let the clutch out or you start over) also, make sure you have it is reverse, do not be scared to pull back hard when going into reverse.
Good luck!
