Default 1997 Mustang Cobra A/C issues...

On my recently purchased 1997 Cobra I have an A/C issue. It is not working at all. I checked the freon and it is full to the correct specifactions but the compressor is not clicking on. The knobs on the dashboard are working fine, air is blowing out the vents or on the floor or das whenever selected. And the fan is working fine as well. Do the Cobra's have any electrical issues or a common problem with the A/C when I can turn to first? Thanks!

I have a 97 Cobra. The ac works great after I brought it in and had it recharged.

Check the A/C cycling switch, you can jumper it to kick the compressor on. If it won't engage, tehn you have a bad switch.

The A/C switch it located next to the passenger side strut tower, again the firewall. It'll be located right next to the A/C evaporator.
