Default Clutch Problems, 2001 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

i just had a new clutch installed in mid august and im already having problems with it. its a centerforce dual friction and it was working fiine for awhile. today i was driving and all of a sudden i start hearing a rattling/clicking type noise. and now my clutch pedal takes alot of effort to push in and sometimes the pedal will squeak when i push it. the higher the rpms the fast the clicking/rattling gets. does anyone know what the problem could be? could it just have been a bad install? cause i doubt this cluitch would go out this soon. i can still get into every gear perfectly fiine though.. any suggestons will be greatly appreciated. im loking to take it to the shop thursday so im tryin to fin out if its there error or not

Normally a stiff pedal is caused by a bad cable, but your case may be different. Get under the car and pull the clutch cover off of the transmission. Using a flash light, inspect your TOB and pressure plate fingers. Aftermarket TOB's have been known to actually break apart, which could cause damage to the PP fingers.

No, a TOB will not stop making noise when the clutch is pushed in. Actually, they usually get louder. A transmission bearing would quit making noise when the clutch is pushed in though.

thnk u both for your help.. im pretty suure its the TOB now. cause the clutch is hard to push in but it still goes in gear and everything smooth. and i constantly hear a chatter and it gets faster as my rpms raise. im calln my shop tomorow and getting it in there.. im probably looking at 35 for the bearing and 75 for labor.. does that sound right? it should only take an hour right?

Probably more in labor as the transmission has to be removed.
