Default 2001 Cobra with battery drainage problem

Hi I'm new here and already have a problem. My 2001 Cobra battery will go down in about five days if it is not driven. I checked drain to the GEM multifuction which controls the keyless intery interior llight and other devices. I removed the GEM fuse and amperage drain decreased to .23 amps. Is it the GEM or other problems.

Thanks all, sorry to start out with problems.

How much was the drain before you removed the GEM fuse? You could keep pulling fuses one at a time till all drain goes away to determine what is still using power. I am not sure as to what the acceptable amount of amp drain is though. I am an old school junkie where the only drain was the radio memory. lol

The pull with the GEM pluged was about 1.75 and .23 after I think the fuse was #39 GEM. I pulled the rest of plugs and it made no difference . I guess it is the computer. Just would like to know for sure I dont like to waste money for no reason. Thanks for the interest.

Came across your thread while troubleshooting the same problem. What did you do to finally resolve this problem? Did you ever come across the current draw that is normal for the GEM?
