Default 1996 mustang cobra rear springs

I was having some sounds when I was getting on it and it sounded like an exhaust problem, or back pressure problem. I took it in today and turns out my eibach lowering springs are worn out or just not heavy duty enough for the convertible and my car sits so low that the drive shaft has a nice groove in it from the e-brake bracket and the exhaust has rubbed on the drive shaft as well. I need to bring my car back up about an inch to prevent this and I am just trying to find a pair of stock 1996 cobra springs, or a cheap set of air shocks? Any of you out there got something you can work with me on? Possible other ideas? Thank you

maximum motorsports has rear lower control arms with an adjustable spring perch( I have them on my car) that allows you to raise your car up to 2 inches. There are some other manufacturers out there with the same style product (probably cheaper) but I don't remember who. I have seen them though for around $200. Good luck

There are rubber isolators in the rear. If there weren't put in when the new springs were installed, you'd loose some height.

I'd check again to sure it/they aren't broken if you have things rubbing on the axle housing.
