No you can't... and shouldn't. If you move the images in photobucket, the thread becomes useless. Please do not do this, our "site tech" hasn't found a way to disable embedding from photobucket and sites as such. Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should...

The attachment feature works great, the mods end up opening the picture and saving them to their computer and attaching them to the thread. A lot of unnecessary work
Saving a copy to your pictures and uploading them (delete off your computer later) allows a thumbnail to show and the picture to permanently attach to the thread
