Default Interest in a Tillman Speed S197 Turbo System?

Testing the waters. If anyone has any interest in a reasonably priced turbo system, complete with intercooler, fuel system, turbo, everything neccessary for install, custom tuning, mail order and installed in-house.
What is a fair price range that would seal the deal? (Smart asses need-not respond! )

What kind of horsepower/boost levels? Would you like the kit to be fully adjustable? Should I make these things an option at the time of purchase?

This is a chance to build your own kits!

well im looking into getting a kit here very soon so this is just my 2cents

1 67 mm turbo ( or in that range ) option able but probably be cheaper for you to buy bulk of 1 size instead of diff ones ( that i dont know about im not a vendor lol )

2 oversized intercooler

3 gt 500 pumps or saleen extreme ( pref. gt500 )

4 option of 39 or 60 lb inj.

5 option of sct or diablo mass air ( preferably sct )

6 good mail order tune ( i know there is no replacement for a dyno tune but some of us live hours away from our nearest shop )

7 package deal including needed gauges ( boost , wideband a/f , fuel pressure ect. )

8 as far as boost controllers , manual or electronic leave that up to us

9 boost levels should be in the 8 to 11 range ( anymore than that would have to be "in-house" installs

10 as far as the price i cant help you there im probably the biggest smartass you ever come into contact with lol

but all bs aside im looking to do this very soon so shoot me a pm and we can talk $$$$$$$ , i hope this works out for you man we need more turbo guys ........



ps for the right discount id be willing to run a big ass tillman speed decal on the back window lol

That might be a good alternitive to the price increase in the Whipple..Nice idea Chris.

Maybe mount behind front wheels near fire wall with good ground clearance (even if use only one side like the Cartech's)... could pull air from inside fender well to cool/vent compressor.

Alright.... we need a test vehicle:

2005+ Mustang GT Manual Transmission...

Price would be cost on the parts and half-off on the labor (should make the labor around $500 bucks). We would need the car for about a week.

oh and of course your all the way in bfe lol will you pay half the shipping cost to freight it to you ? lol id be more than willing just to say i had the first tillman kit but yea ......... so hey tillman when are you gonna open a shop down here man they have maybe 1 good tuner in my area but hes afraid to push a motor ( even bullitproof built blocks ) youd make a killing partially just off me lol

Yo nailed everything id want in a kit.. As for keeping the banner on the back window of my car if they kit was a nice discounted price.. Sh** id put on across the front too! haha

Ive been trying to save for a whipple.. but with a higher price i guess thats not the way im going to go.. Maybe turbo is the way i should go, save gas mileage.. Plus there isnt many turboed stangs around my area.. havent actually seen more then 1..

If we do this kit,

Definitely going to be a 67 turbo.
Intercooler will be superior to any out there.
Will have GT500 fuel system standard, 3 pump optional.
We try to only sell 39lbers or 60lbers.
Mail order tuning, for sure.
Gauges will be add-on sale, and the option will be given.
Was going to sell the kit tuned for specific boost levels, and yes... left optional electronic control.
7-15PSI range is where I want to stay.
5K-8K will be the range depending on the options you choose for a full kit, the whole nine yards.

5 to 15 psi adjustable wastegate, air to air intercooler. I would still want to retain good driving manners at the normal steet level, i.e. functional massflow, and retain anti-reversion butterflies.
