Default Tillman Speed 08 GT Whipple Non-Intercooled Supercharger Dyno Results!!!

Jason came to us with a 2008 Mustang GT which had been equipped with a cold air intake and Tillman Speed custom dyno tune previously. This time, his car sported a Whipple Superchargers Polished Non-Intercooled system with the 3.875" pulley and intake air temp sensor relocated behind the blower. We bolted her down, and within 3 passes, she laid down over 393.59 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 359.09 Rear Wheel Torque. Keep in mind this setup was non-intercooled on a 75 degree day with 50% humidity. With 93 octane, and high intake air temps, we felt comfortable keeping the timing to a maximum of 13-14 degrees advance. Jason will be upgrading to the twin in-tank GT500 fuel system and Whipple Intercooler system which should allow us to run more timing, increase the boost level, and maximize fuel pump headroom. We're shooting for 475-495 RWHP!

I don't know Chris, looks like somebody went for the bling over the performance! I would have definitely chosen the intercooled blower over the polished one any day!

BTW, I managed to get two runs in at Cecil County (that place is a zoo anymore!), my best was a 11.34 @129.89 w/1.7 60' on FRIGGIN STREET TIRES!! I really need some ET Streets or something similar, because I was spinning the tires on every shift!

Nice #'s. It that on all stock internals and safe for a daily driver? Just wondering how much I can get out of my 07 without tearing into the motor and keepin it safe.

Holy crap... can you imagine when that thing hooks?

After you get about 2500 miles on it or so, I'd like to get her back on the dyno. I think we'll have no probably nailing 600 to the rollers!

Stock internals! On a manual car WITH THE RIGHT TUNING you can definitely obtain up to 490RWHP or so. You'll be better off keeping it under 475RWHP if you like engine longevity. I have guys who have been running with numbers like this for quite some time now with no issues.

Wasn't a bling thing, I bought it used with 7k miles on it for a song. I'm currently getting together the IC kit and GT500 Fuel Pumps as I'm not liking the intake temps I'm seeing.

Hell of a run btw. I can't imagine running that kind of power on street tires.

Didn't realize it was a used blower. In that case it would make sense. Once you add the IC, you'll see an improvement in both the power output and the intake temps.

Thanks! One of these days I'll get some sticky tires and try it again! Until then, I'll just keep 'em spinnin'!

They make a world of difference! I have a set of MT's mounted on the 05+ 17" split spokes that I toss on for track duty.
