right now I'm running the pulley that came on the blower with my stock motor pulleys. He said it's 11-14 psi. Needless to say I havent hammered on it. Waiting on an overdrive pulley to keep it around 10 psi. And still gotta do some more datalogs for him too.

My girlfriend calls it a waste of money, but I see it as saving money(and time away from her) if I install it myself

If you don't mind, could you send me the "winpep" file from when you were dyno-tuned? was it a dynojet? if not, how about the hp/tq curves...I trying to see how the e-force compares to a whipple HO. I know the two are practically identical in performance...

thanks
I don't know what a "winpep" file is.. but here's a copy of my dyno sheet when the blower was installed. It was done on a Mustang Dyno. Also, it was before the torque converter was installed, so it was even closer to the same setup as you - although I don't know if that would change the way the sheet looks because they don't start recording data until after 2500 rpm anyway. Did you post your dyno sheet I also attached an 11.69 run at Atco - but for some reason the slip didn't show me some of the mid-run data...

Default My dyno results for the E-force

Dtuna...

Attached is my dyno results for my combo. The boost measurement shown on the graph is BEFORE the intercooler. I have since data logged after the intercooler and see atleast 1 lb less on average. I typically see 7 to 9.5 psi and sometimes a spike to 10 lbs near 6300 rpms. These results are for a 3.50 pulley. I get about 30 more rwhp jumping to a 3.25 pulley. I have the pulley and tune from Tillman for the 3.25. The tune for the 3.25 is conservative. I could run race gas and go w/ my 3.50 tune, but use the 3.25 pulley and achieve about 490 - 500 rwhp most likely. I am holding off on this

Is your whipple a Gen1 or Gen 2. What pulley dia are you running?

Exactly, like I said, other variables effect your measured boost but they don always mean less power- in fact, less boost with more power is just more efficient and therefor, better. My kit is the stock HO charge-cooled kit from FRPP-Whipple, and has been in for over a year, so I assume it's Gen 1. I am really happy with it though- I love the super flat, fat torque curve especially. I've only ran a few times so far, and as I get better with the launch I got lower in the 11's.

I think I need to do 2 things to break 11.5's. First is weight loss - I have to take out 2 amps and a 13.5" sub enclosure in the trunk, along with about 75lbs of Dynamat. 2nd, I need to do something to lower the rear suspension to launch better as I am sill 'easing' out of the hole to avoid wheelspin. Got any recommendations?
I hadn't thought about getting a tune for race gas - I will look into that too- will you be at cecil this friday?

Wow thats impressive to say the least!!! Mid 11s is downright awesome in a fully loaded street car! One of my regrets is getting a stick shift. After what you did and a guy I know with a Saleen blower and auto I wish I got one too. Try some skinnies up front. It will help with weight transfer, and lose some weight too.

With your 114mph trap speed you are in the high - 11 sec neighborhood with darg radials....
