Stopped by Tillman this weekend to get my car checked out. Was worried I was running lean.


Came right into the shop and the guys went right to work on my car. I really appreciated that cuz I know you can't always get immediate service in some shops. CR and Chris Tillman checked it out and everything was okay mechanically. Chris optimized my tune a bit in some places, and my tune feels even tighter now(didn't know that was possible). Feels like Chris put a little more throttle response in the tune so it feels less of a sloppy shifting between gears. Not that it was THAT bad before. It was good...now it's better.

Didn't get to thank Chris Tillman before I left...so Thank you! And thank you CR!

Those guys are the best when it comes to customer service and follow up after the sale! They make you feel like you actually matter to them.

I must be on acid, I have not had the same experience that you guys seem to have had. CR and Chris Tillman are nice enough when I talk to them, CR was great at follow-up when I needed questions and tech support for my tunes. The problem is i think they are either too busy to deal with me or think Im an a-hole and they do not want to deal with me. I am owed two tunes for my SCT tune, I got the 91 all out(Great tune) but I do not have the other two I purchased in mid August, Everythime i call, I get the same answer, we are real busy and We will send your tunes right away! My first tune came first week of october, I love it, CR was great but I am in some kind of black hole of customer service. I hear and have heard great things about Tillman but either I am doing something wrong or they are! What's the deal here?

I think it's just cuz there busy. I know it's frustrating when you need something working yesterday. I feel like an A-hole when I call a few times a day to see if something is done. For me everything is urgent cuz my car is a DD.

When I was standing in their shop and they were checking my car out, the phone was pretty much ringing off the hook with people calling them while they were working. So if a lot of these people are calling with tuning questions and the like, you can understand how busy they are. Plus there is no system to keep track of who called. The draw back of being one of the better shops I suppose.
