Default Ritchie 2005 Mustang GT Roush TVS R2300 487RWHP/453RWTQ!!!

Ritchie came to us with his 2005 Mustang GT equipped with Long Tube JBA Headers w/ Catted H-Pipe, Comp Stage 4 Cams, 4.10:1 Gears, and 93 octane! We fitted his car with a GT500 fuel system as well as a Roush TVS 2300 Supercharger. With the car very detuned (13 degrees timing and 11.3ish air/fuel ratio) we kept this car to just under 490RWHP and 453RWTQ! Car makes over 500 Rear Wheel Horsepower Standard Corrected! We felt this to be the safe limit on the bottom end, due to the high boost pressures the Roush TVS supercharger system creates out of the box.

With a forged bottom end and a re-tune this car would EASILY make between 550-600 Rear Wheel Horsepower on 93 Octane! Keep in mind the 4.10 gears make the numbers read slighly lower!!

It's an animal, now!!! Over 400RWTQ at 2000RPM!

Those new TVS 2300 blowers are really nice.. MM & FF is going to have a test of a new Stage 3 Roush running that with the forged bottom in I believe next months issue. With the stock mild tune and street tires they 11.8 secs' in quarter, 11.4 on drag slicks. Think with that bottom end they are good to 650 RWHP. With the stock tune you can still get almost 20 mpg. If you can't spring the big bucks for a new Roush, I'd sure give Tillmans a call. No I'm not getting a kick-back, had mine done at Roush last week so I'm talking first hand.

I did but I was at a motel's computer with no sound. That video has been pulled since the week-end. I bet I saw 100 of them blowers sitting on racks waiting for the Roush upper housing to be swapped in and I sure thought they blue print them before they go to the test cell. 500-508 rwhp with the stock heads, cam, mild tune and exhaust manifolds leaves a lot of room for improvement. Traction is the problem now, such a problem!

How much timing would an aggressive tune have for a simular setup? How much boost?

Aggresive tune would have to have a forged bottom end in order to be able to handle the power.

With 17-18 degrees of timing, 11.7 air fuel ratio this car would have no problem hitting 550RWHP like it was childs play. And more room to go!
