Default Mileage on My Car

I was wondering, since my car has like 143,000 miles on it, if that would be too many miles to make any major engine modifications such as a turbo or anything like that?

i would say yea, that is too many miles to begin to invest money into an engine that doesn't have that much life left in it.

But hey, 143,000 miles, thats great. Thats one driven mustang

That alot of miles, but it depends on how it was taken care of. A leak-down compression test would be the first step.....

Screw a compression test.

Just have it cleaned, and rebuilt with forged parts.

Screw a clean rebuilt engine with forged parts.

Just buy a whole new block!

1st of all, what's your budget & how long into the future are you looking to go forced induction?
