Default Got our work cut out for us!!!

Well ford guys there is a v6 firebird that has run 8.991@150+mph in the 1/4. Found this over on v6power.net
I may try and make it - V6Power Messageboard
I dont care what company made the car. A v6 that runs that is pretty impressive in my books. I can only dream of goin that fast.

Yeah we do...... I've always been of fan of the Grand Nationals. We always see a couple when we go to Beech Bend.

I really don't look at it that way. The GN was a factory production car as was the 2.3 turbo in the earlier foxes/t-birds. Most of the guys at V6P are trying to get the most out of their motors. No production numbers, no high level engineers, no big budgets. Main girdles and other engine parts are being manufactured one at a time. You can't even buy a new turbo system anymore without fabricating one. That doesn't make it easy, but then again, nothing worth doing ever is.......
