How bout we just stfu with the bs and just answer the mf op's question?

Mods currently either sitting at home being shipped: Fully ported and polished Heads and intake, 218/224 cam, 4.10 gears with detroit locker, HID kit and Zex kit

I also answered him. lol I told him to sand it down really fine and try not to paint when it is humid due to bubbling and drying times. I think the guy I was argueing with also answered when he told him to do lots of thinner coats instead of a few thick coats.

I don't like painting interior pieces. They are really hard to get looking good I think.

true, but i wouldnt use heave sand paper, something light, so the grain doesnt get sanded off

Yeah, If you use a tough grit sandpaper it leaves some very deep grooves in the plastic/vinyl...I speak from experience. lol

How does your Mustang sound with the Flows and the H-pipe?

what about if you wanted to paint the carpet or whatever the soft part of the door panel is? what would you use to paint that?

No, I can't lock threads-I'm not a mod. But I do keep an eye on them. If they get out of hand, I get a moderator to lock them if need be. We've had that problem a couple times. I try to uphold the AFM ethics here.....

Painting/dying an interior is a pretty easy project, but you have to take it all out in order for it to be done properly. I used Krylon Fusion on my '86. Check out the pictures in my profile. New carpeting is only around $100.00 or so.

I've thought about becoming a V6 moderator because Lee is busy with his business.....
