Default 1990 Mustang 3.8 liter v6 thunderbird help!

Ok well i have a 1990 ford thunderbird that has been put through some crap over the years, i bought it for 800 and put a good thousand into it just to make it drivable. i still need a couple things like a right front motor mount. Im having issues with the wiring i think, ever time i hit my window to go down or up the engine bogs and the lights go dim including head lights and the interier. another problem is that the engine is spiting and sputtering. in which i was thinking a intake gasket but not shore any one think they could help it would be a life save. ow yeah its a standard not a s/c or a LX.

The lights dimming is easy. Mine did the same thing. Your window motor is going out. The spitting and sputtering-- check your fuel filter, and of course plugs & wires.

Replace your air filter with a K&N, (from most auto parts store for around $45.)
While there get a can of Brake clean and when you have the air filter out look in the hose going toward the engine, there will be a small window looking thing suspended in the air hose. spray this with break clean. Brake clean evaperates and will not leve residue and is no flamable.
This should get you a little more power.

ok thanks already replaced plugs and wires, and the fuel filter i didnt think about, its always the easy things, lol
i also plan on replacing the air filter with k&n anyway just havent got to it your not talking about the pcv valve are you, but i did get some air intake cleaner. didnt make a diffrence you think brake clean will help more.
I looked some stuff on line and found that my car had a recall on the wireing you dont think that could be it, but it does make sence becouse if i hold the switch it wont let me us it for like 10 minuts

Ok a little off topic but my fan for my radiator is mounted to the engine on a temp clutch plate, wouldn't it be better to have an electric fan to releave stress on the motor in which would bring me a little more power?
Would this be something that i could do my self, is the wireing hard becouse of temp control.
